Bevin W. Wall, Attorney at Law, is a native of Newport, North Carolina who got his legal education and returned home, to put it to work, for the people of Carteret & Craven County.

A National Honor Society graduate of West Carteret High School in Morehead City, NC in 1981, he received the St. Andrews Honors Scholarship to attend St. Andrews College in Laurinburg, NC, where he graduated Honor Society, cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy in 1985. He attended University of Stirling, Scotland in 1983. His Law Degree is from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1988.

In 1989 he established Bevin W. Wall, Attorney at Law, a sole proprietorship and general practice of law. The business has been in its present location in Ocean Way Plaza since 1999. It is a general practice of law emphasizing criminal defense, DWI, traffic, bankruptcy and real estate matters.

He is licensed to practice in all State courts in North Carolina, and has been admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina federal court and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina federal bankruptcy court. He has argued cases before the N.C. Court of Appeals and the North Carolina Supreme Court.

Attorney Wall was President of The Carteret County Bar in 1989-1990, and has served in various other positions with the County Bar. He has been a member in good standing of the N.C. State Bar and the North Carolina Bar Association since 1989. He has also been affiliated with The Association of Trial Lawyers of America (now Association for Justice), the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers, The Eastern Bankruptcy Institute, The Southeastern Bankruptcy Institute, and many other professional organizations.

He represented Carteret County in tax related matters from 1994-1999.

Attorney Wall also has served for over 10 years as the Law Librarian at the Carteret County Law Library located at the Carteret County Courthouse, Beaufort, NC. He was instrumental in lobbying for the initial library at that location, as well as lobbying for its materials and technology upgrades in subsequent years.
